High or thickness 3 inches. We milled this slice level with a router.

This slice came from a tree cut down 14 months ago when we done forest management and logged the woods. The biggest side of this slice is solid and has ambrosia all through it.

The biggest side has also been sanded smooth to a 150 grit sand paper. The other side which is the smaller side has a 1 inch deep hole in it and 1 inch square, which came from the tree pulling a little wood when i fell the tree. There is a few smaller places in it also where it pulled some wood. There only around a inch deep then it's solid the rest of the way.

I chose the biggest side to sand to a 150 grit sand paper because the ambrosia is beautiful. The smallest side has been sanded to 36 grit sandpaper to get the milled marks out of it.

If you wanted to use that side for a epoxy table , it wouldn't take much epoxy to do that side. Personally i would use the biggest side for a table and the few spots in the bottom won't effect where the legs go.

This is a raw material untreated. And we thank you for your business. This item is made of maple.
